Have you heard? The Happy Lark is turning two! (BTW-- We're doing some big giveaways on our Instagram and Facebook accounts! Check 'em out.)

We are unexpectedly emotional at this juncture. What did your family look like two years ago? For many of our customers, it looked totally different than it does today. We are so honored to have watched your families grow, and we are so happy to have been a part of it.

Gulp. Come to think of it, our families look a lot different too.

It should not surprise anyone that on the verge of this accomplishment, the quote running through our (collective?) head is from a kid's book about engineering:

"That night, as Rosie lay wide-eyed in bed, a daring idea crept into her head... But questions are tricky and some hold on tight, and this one kept Rosie awake through the night."

-Rosie Revere, Engineer by Andrea Beatty

Guys, this is precisely how we felt when we were planning The Happy Lark. And guess what. We STILL have a few ideas that keep us wide-eyed in bed. Stay tuned, y'all.

Love,

Caitlin and Suzanne

P.S. We are a small business. We survive on the support of our local community. Our family and friends. Word of mouth referrals. Our customers that shop local for every classmate's birthday party. We appreciate it, we need it, and we are so thankful for it. Keep it up, Fort Worth! We hope to be writing a similar blog post when we turn twenty.
