Also, here's a hot tip: Even though Jellycat isn't on their website, they have it in the store!

If you love southern clothing full of monograms and smocked details, then This Fort Worth institution is your go-to for baby showers and newborn gifting. From monogrammed blankets and boutique clothing to high-end gifts and accessories, Babies on the Boulevard has a well-edited selection of all things baby. The staff is super helpful if you're shopping for new parents or putting together a registry. Fort Worth parents love Babies on the Boulevard's southern charm. (PS-- our friend Lauren is the owner, and she has purchased the building next to us-- that's right, we'll be neighbors in the future!)

Monkey & Dog Books is a must-visit for book-loving families. This charming indie bookstore has a warm, welcoming vibe and an excellent selection of children’s books—from board books to early readers and chapter books. The staff offers great recommendations, and the store regularly hosts author events and story times that kids love. It’s a great place to nurture a lifelong love of reading. Our family always participates in their Where's Waldo? hunt around town each summer. 

8. Covey House

Their shop has a quiet elegance to it, and everything feels hand-picked with intention.
