Our Favorite Travel Toys

It's summer time, and that means trips via planes, trains, and automobiles. It's always nice to have a few new toys up your sleeve to entertain the kiddos, so here's a few of our favorite travel-friendly picks. 

1. SmartGames IQ Puzzler Pro: This challenging brain-teaser game is for ages 6+, and could probably entertain you too! Store all the pieces and the puzzle booklet in the compact board game. 

2. Djeco art kits: These compact craft kits include scratch cards, mosaics, origami, sticker art, and more. We just packed this sticker set for a plane ride and it was so much fun! 

3. Jaq Jaq Bird Erasable Chalk Books: We LOVE these books! Each comes with four pieces of their amazing dustless chalk, ButterStix. Because it's dustless, it won't make a mess in your car. Just use a wipe to clean it off. 

4. Plus-Plus: We love the BIG 15-piece tube for travel, as well as the travel case with smaller pieces for bigger kids (6+). If you already have Plus-Plus, throw some in a ziplock bag for easy travel entertainment. 

5. Boogie Boards: This reusable writing tablet is so much fun for doodling. Simply press the button to clear the screen and start over. It's totally mess-free and great for travel. If you have a three or four year-old, we like the Scribble 'N Play. 

6. Ooly Set The Scene: Transfer Sticker Magic: My kiddos LOVE these, and bonus, they take forever to complete. Use the included wooden tool to transfer 60 stickers onto the play board. Pro tip: instead of using the wooden tool, use a pen. This shows the kiddos which part of the sticker has already been transferred. 

7. Playmobil Carry Cases: These on-the-go Playmobil cases are so much fun. Store everything for your pretend play in the included case. Right now we have a camping set and a dinosaur set.
