DUALTECH™ fabric:
Both the foam and dual knit fabric are fire retardant free to keep baby safe inside and out. These fabrics are specially woven and designed to eliminate the need for any additional treatment.

Protection from all sides
The adjustable headrest is reinforced with EPP foam to help absorb energy while the integrated design of our Side Impact Protection keeps baby’s head protected during a collision. Additionally, the 4th rebound carry handle position allows for increased safety and aids in absorbing rebound forces.
Included base with load leg
The MESA MAX base includes an adjustable load leg that adds stability and increases overall safety. It also helps to limit forward rotation during a front collision and reduce the chance of a head or neck injury.

The base is also designed with a four-position adjustable foot for easy leveling during installation.

Additionally, the convenient, reversible option allows baby to face you while strolling, or you can turn the carrier to pull right up to a table for mealtime.

Yes, you must remove the Mesa Max before folding the Vista, Cruz, Ridge or Minu stroller.

Yes, the Mesa Max carrier is FAA approved when used according to the instruction manual. We suggest you travel with your Mesa Max in flight for optimal safety. The Mesa Max base is not approved for aircraft use.

The Mesa Max seat pad, infant insert, buckle pad and shoulder pads can be machine washed on the gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry. We recommend spot cleaning the canopy and plastic parts. The harness webbing should be cleaned with warm water and Dawn soap.

Yes, ALL fashions (both fabrics and foams) on the Mesa Max are free of fire-retardant chemicals. Gregory and Greyson fashions feature Merino wool which is naturally fire retardant, and the DualKnit fabric in Jake, Noa and Anthony fashions are not treated with any fire-retardant chemicals. All fashions comply with the federal car safety flammability standards (FMVSS 302).
