Q: What is there to do at your indoor playspace?

A: Our playspace features a variety of toys, activities, and centers that encourage unplugged, open-ended and pretend play. We periodically change out the toys, activities and centers to keep things fresh. Keep checking our website and social media for pictures of the playspace. We are so excited for you and your little ones to see what we have planned! We know you'll love it.

Q: Can I drop my kids off at The Happy Lark playspace?

A: No. Parents accompany children in the playspace and are responsible for supervising their children at all times. Our playspace is intended to be a place where parents and their children can interact with each other and other families in a positive and fun way.

Q: I have one toddler and one infant-- do I still need to pay multi child rates? 

A: Yes. Our price only goes up $5/month for multi child memberships and $2 for a multi child drop-in, so we do ask that you include infants in your head count as well. We have a great infant area, and even the teeny tiny ones love looking around and interacting with new toys.

Q: How do I sign up for a membership? 

A: Sign up for your membership in person at The Happy Lark or sign up online here

Q: What if I don't want to commit to a membership quite yet?

A: We also offer a drop-in option. You are welcome to drop-in anytime, but if you find yourself here a lot (which we hope you do!) a membership might be a better option.

Q: Can I bring my children who are older than 6 to the playspace?

A: Absolutely! We only ask that they play in a manner that is safe and fun for the younger children. Older children that are too rambunctious may be asked to leave. Also remember that you must have a multi child membership to bring more than one child (of any age) to the playspace.

Q: What if I want my nanny or a grandparent to take my child to the playspace?

A: That's great! If you have a membership, we can check your child in by your member number or last name. If you're doing a drop-in, typical rates apply. If it's your child's first time to play with us, the caregiver will need to fill out a waiver.

  Q: Can I include my nieces, nephews etc. on my membership/drop-in?

A: No. Our special multi child pricing is designed to make THL affordable for families with two or more children (YAY!). Multi child pricing does not apply when children are not members of the same family. We define "family" as sharing a parent or legal guardian. 

Q: Can I bring food or drinks in the playspace?

A: We know that little ones get hungry frequently. You are welcome to bring a drink and a snack. We ask that you eat it at our designated food table and that you clean up after yourself.

Q: What accommodations are provided for breastfeeding mothers?

A: Mothers who are breastfeeding are welcome to nurse anywhere at The Happy Lark. We do have a designated nursing room for mothers who prefer privacy.

Q: What if I need to cancel my membership?

A: You may cancel your membership at anytime. However, you will not be refunded the prorated amount, so your membership will still be active through the end of the current billing cycle. You should be able to cancel your membership by logging in to your account on our website. If this doesn't seem to be working, you can always just call us or shoot us an email and we'll take care of it.

Q: Can I rent your playspace?

A: We offer birthday parties on Saturdays. Read more about parties here. Interested in renting our playspace outside of our regular business hours?
